The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi announced the inauguration of a new clinic at the directorate’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The new clinic will provide treatment and services for medical emergencies, as well as consultation for staff members and customers alike. The clinic is operated by a physician and a nurse, seven days a week in two shifts, morning and evening.
Colonel Yusuf Khouri, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, stressed that opening a medical clinic at the directorate main building is one of the most important initiatives implemented by the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector as a part of its strategy. “This initiative stems out of the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at providing quality healthcare to staff members and customers, being the cornerstone of the development and growth process, in order to improve the services offered to them and provide them with the proper occupational health and safety conditions,” he said.
In his address on the occasion, Colonel Khouri emphasized that the health and safety of staff members and customers at the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs in Abu Dhabi is a top priority for the directorate. “It gives us great pleasure to inaugurate this medical clinic, which provides an added value to us, by providing high-quality medical services,” he noted. Moreover, he explained that this clinic would encourage staff members and customers alike to pay attention to their health.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Murshid Al Mazroui, Head of the Naturalization Department and a number of officers from the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi.
