MoI Encourages Customer Service Excellence Diploma Candidates to be Pioneers in Customer Service

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) encouraged the third batch of candidates enrolled in the Customer Service Excellence Diploma to become pioneers in customer service and to apply the diploma program in a practical way that would enhance the performance of government institutions and achieve customer satisfaction and happiness.

Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Ka’bi, Head of the Customer Service Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently convened with candidates at various training locations and inspected the final exams procedures. He stressed upon the Ministry of Interior’s eagerness to work with partners to prepare, train and develop the national skills of those  operating in the service sector. This would prepare them perfectly to be pioneers in delivering distinguished governmental services.

“The government is seeking to accomplish the welfare and happiness of citizens, which falls within the framework of the UAE 2021 Vision to transform the country into one of the best countries in the world, especially in the area of providing governmental services,” Colonel Al Ka’bi said. He affirmed that the MoI has attached much importance to customer service and developing the employees operating in the service sector. The MoI has adopted projects and initiatives to develop the performance of both services and employees, such as the Customer Service Excellence Diploma Program. This program is accredited by the International Business Training Association (IBTA) and is executed in association with the Etisalat Academy, using scientific methods that are supervised by specialized experts in human development within the field of customer service.

He noted that this diploma program prepares and trains employees in the service sector, as well as granting them certificates licensed by the International Business Training Association (IBTA). This program is available for all national employees operating in the service field, and who have been selected based on specific conditions and standards adopted by the MoI’s Customer Service Department.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Maneh Hamad Al Zaabi, Deputy Head of the Customer Service Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major Ahmed Ghareeb Al Mansouri, Chief of the Skills and Communication Development Section; and First Lieutenant Sultan Al Mazroui and Lieutenant Omar Al Muhairi from the Customer Service Department.
